Active Isolated STRETCHING

1 Hour  |  $100

90 Mins  |  $150

2 Hours  |  $200

The Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) method of muscle lengthening and fascial release is a type of Athletic Stretching Technique that provides  dynamic, effective, facilitated stretching of major muscle groups, primarily, AIS provides functional and physiological restoration of superficial and deep fascial planes.

Many experts over the last few decades have advised that stretching should last up to 60 seconds and for years, this prolonged static stretching technique was the gold standard.  Now,studies show that prolonged static stretching actually decreases the blood flow within the tissue creating localized ischemia and lactic acid buildup.

This has potential to cause irritation or injury of local muscular, tendinous, lymphatic, as well as neural tissues, similar to the effects and consequences of trauma and overuse syndromes.

Neuromuscular therapy

1 Hour  |  $100

90 Mins  |  $150

2 Hours  |  $200

Neuromuscular Massage Therapy (NMT) is a great way to address trigger points and tissue that is constricted, which places pressure on embedded nerves and in turn causes inflammation.  When these constrictions and trigger points are not addressed it causes postural imbalances.
Conditions that we treat and have had success reducing or eliminating pain are...
  • Rotator Cuff Pain
  • Arm & Shoulder Pain
  • Headaches
  • Tennis / Golf Elbow Pain
  • Hand / Wrist Pain
  • S/I Joint Pain
  • IT Band Pain (knee injury)
  • Pelvic Pain
  • Sciatica
  • Muscle Fatigue
  • Shin Splints
  • Tendonitis Pain
  • Plantar Fasciitis
  • Achilles Pain
  • Scars and Adhesions
Widely regarded as the most effective type of massage therapy for lower back pain. Neuromuscular therapy is also known as trigger point myotherapy;  The American Academy of Pain Management recognizes this form of massage as an effective treatment for back pain caused by soft tissue injury.

It involves alternating levels of concentrated pressure on the areas of muscle spasm. Pressure is usually applied with the elbow, fingers, or knuckles.  The pressure is applied to a muscle spasm in 10 to 30 second increments.

Muscles that are painful to the touch are lacking proper blood flow.  The pain is caused by ischemic muscle tissue. Ischemia means the muscle is lacking proper blood flow, usually due to the muscle spasm. not enough blood flow means not enough oxygen and that causes lactic acid build up.

Biofeedback scanning

2 Hours  |  $200

Electrodermographs have traditionally been limited to detecting stress from psychological stimulus to help people manage their stress and anxiety levels through conscious means such as breathing deep and focusing on certain things. Through galvanic skin response, ZYTO goes beyond this limited application of the technology by introducing what we call Virtual Items to the body.

Virtual Items are digitally encoded representations of physical items. So, in addition to introducing something external that the body responds to, it can also respond to representations of body systems as well as representations of items used to balance the body such as supplements, essential oils, and foods. This application of the technology was first pioneered by Dr. Reinhard Voll in the 1960s, and has now been made much easier and more accessible with the use of ZYTO hardware and software.

During a biofeedback session, electrodes are attached to your skin. Finger sensors can also be used. These electrodes/sensors send signals to a monitor, which displays a sound, flash of light, or image that represents your heart and breathing rate, blood pressure, skin temperature, sweating, or muscle activity.

When you're under stress, these functions change. Your heart rate speeds up, your muscles tighten, your blood pressure rises, you start to sweat, and your breathing quickens. You can see these stress responses as they happen on the monitor, and then get immediate feedback as you try to stop them. Biofeedback sessions are typically done in a therapist's office, but there are computer programs that connect the biofeedback sensor to your own computer.

A biofeedback therapist helps you practice relaxation exercises, which you fine-tune to control different body functions. For example, you might use a relaxation technique to turn down the brainwaves that activate when you have a headache

" Your treatment for my dystonia has been like a miracle.  The tension and pain in my neck has been like a miracle.  The tension and pain in my neck has subsided to a manageable level.  No treatment worked until I started the structural balance therapy.  Thank you."
